Ways to Group Students as a Result of the Running Record

Page history last edited by Lindsay Untch 14 years, 2 months ago

I am fortunate to have learned not only how to take a running record but also how to score and analyze one in order to complete and develop RTI Tier 2 interventions.  I also know how to group students according to the results of the running record.  For example, in order to group students into guided reading groups I can do the same running record on every student.  Then, I can score and analyze the running record and group students according to the accuracy rate.  I can continue to take running records on each student for the duration of the school year and regroup the guided reading groups as needed.  I have provided a few examples of running records I have taken, scored, and analyzed below in order to show you that I am competent in the area of running records.
